Client Services

Once registered, NEP clients have access to additional information on our OSS Network Integration Services.

The purpose of these secure sections is to move you and your Network Element (NE) one step closer to the marketplace. Topics include:

Joint Processes and Telcordia Deliverables secure where we introduce you to the joint processes and deliverables associated with the OSMINE Services (Heritage) and GFDS Services. The section will identify the information required from you in support of your NE and what Telcordia will deliver to you as a result of providing that data and information. Funding options to help reduce or share costs are also discussed.

Product Descriptions and Planning Letters secure where we provide definitions, timelines and other need-to-know information on the many Telcordia-developed Operations Support Systems, both Heritage and Next Generation Network (NGN) products. We identify products associated with OSMINE Services (Heritage) that pertain to access, transmission equipment, switching and data.

Generic Feature Development Services secure where we introduce you to the joint processes and deliverables associated with the OSMINE Services and GFDS Services introduced to you in the NEP OSS Services section of the site. These materials will identify the information required from you in support of your NE and what Telcordia will deliver to you as a result of providing that data and information. Funding options to help reduce or share costs are also discussed. The new Generic Feature Development Services (GFDS) Special Report (SR) is now available to review or download. The SR is in the pdf format.

OSS Service Architectures For NEPs secure where we illustrate the way in which combinations of OSSs are used for various business purposes of the service providers, such as Network Capacity Management, Service Provisioning, Service Assurance, etc. Focused on particular products of NEPs, these services architectures also serve as part of customer solutions that guide service providers in the operations of their network.
