Access to Telcordia’s PSTN can be at the following interface levels: POTS, BRI & PRI ISDN, Signaling System 7 (SS7), T1- MF Analog Trunking, T1- SS7 Trunking, Simplified Message Desk Interface (SMDI), or any other legitimate open switch interface.

Testing and Analysis Services for Equipment Suppliers

Telcordia also offers independent, testing and analysis services, as well as, product development assistance. We can help test your products to verify to both you and your customers that the products meet your own specifications, industry standards, or Telcordia Generic Requirements. Product capability, functionality, and performance can be verified by these methods:

  • Standalone Testing - We can help you perform product testing in an "isolated island" environment to verify product functionality, capability, and performance under stress.
  • Product-to-Product Interoperability Testing - We can help you perform product testing to determine how your product inter-operates with one or more of Telcordia lab switches or network elements.
  • Network Interoperability Testing - We can help you perform product testing through all necessary network elements, including end-to-end testing from an end user’s perspective. This testing covers product functionality as it pertains to processing, protocols, and interfaces.
