OEM Subsystem Supplier - Access System Technical Analysis Services
Recognizing that an Access System's narrowband telephony transmission and signaling performance is many times controlled by the design of the OEM supplier's subsystems and devices used in the network element, Telcordia offers telephony transmission and signaling testing (including echo canceller technical analysis) for these integrated circuits and subsystem modules. Voice Frequency Transmission and Signaling
Telcordia provides testing of all telephony interfaces to specifications in Telcordia generic requirements GR-506, GR-57, GR-303 and GR-909, as well as ANSI Standards T1.401, T1.407 and T1.409.
- Whether your product is intended for an Access Gateway (CO application), an Integrated Access Device (IAD)/Multimedia Terminal Adapter (MTA) (residential/small business location), or business gateway (medium size business location), we can help you to demonstrate conformance to these specifications.
- We can test for generation or detection of all call progress tones (e.g., Dial tone) and DTMF address signals, was well as assess voice quality performance of your product.
Next-generation packet network architectures hold tremendous promise, but (at least in the residential market) "you still have to ring the phone". Telcordia can help insure that your packet voice product maximizes its compatibility with embedded telephony station equipment.
Echo Canceller Performance and Voice Quality
Telcordia provides testing of echo cancellation and voice quality to specifications in ITU standards G.168 (echo cancellation), P.800 (PAMS), P.861 (PSQM) and P.862 (PESQ).
- If you want to determine the effectiveness of one or more algorithms before producing hardware, we can supply digitized input files for the input and echoed paths. After you process these files with your algorithm, we analyze the output files and provide a report with detailed measurement data.
- If you already have hardware with DS1 inputs and outputs, we can serve as a neutral third party, testing to the desired standards and producing a report that you can give to potential customers. We can also customize the testing to meet specific needs, for example testing at various temperatures, or testing over a wider range of conditions than those given in the ITU specifications.
