ENUM Overview

IP-based communications are everywhere and mobile devices, especially smartphones, are becoming the preferred access device. Since the best way to address mobile devices is through a subscriber's mobile telephone number, operators need a way to efficiently reach mobile subscribers to deliver IP-enabled services, such as VoIP and other IMS-based multimedia services, across operator domains over IP networks.

What is our ENUM Service?

ENUM is a standard protocol that maps telephone numbers to an IP address. Part of our Interconnection suite, our ENUM service leverages Telcordia® Mobile ID and country dial code information, routing data from the Telcordia® Routing Administration, and Telcordia Number Portability information, to help ensure the data accuracy that consistently supports seamless interconnection.

Our ENUM solution provides:
