GR Project Description

A Project Description is created for each Telcordia GR project that is announced to the industry for participation. The formal announcement for each individual GR project, which contains the project description, is referred to as an Invitation to Participate (IFP).

Each project description (IFP) shall include:

• A detailed description about the document(s), its purpose, and why the document(s) is being newly developed or reissued
• A list of clear and concise value statements
• Proposed issues to be addressed in the document, depending on the number of companies that choose to participate
• Specific benefits to suppliers and/or service providers if they participate in the project
• Expected number of funding participants to allow for all proposed issues to be addressed
• Preliminary conference call information (conference call details or other meeting approach details) that shall occur 30 days after the initial IFP and open to all potential participants
• GR Project Title and GRs Impacted
• GR Project Manager - name and contact information
