General Workshops

TRA holds 1 1/2 day workshops during the year to describe and discuss the TRA numbering data in the Telcordia® LERG™ Routing Guide and other TRA data products.  General Workshops, as opposed to Company-Specific Workshops are open to anyone wishing to attend.  Due to a wide variety of uses of this data, the focus in these workshops is directed towards what the data is, how it is obtained, and how it is provided, more so than on specific uses. However, participants can raise "use" questions and bring examples that can be reviewed.  These workshops will also describe the industry structure in which TRA operates, provide an overview of basic routing and rating concepts relative to TRA data, and discuss various routing, rating, and numbering directions in which the industry is heading that may ultimately impact the data.  The workshop touches upon the follow topics, with approximately half the time spent on reviewing the LERG itself.

Data Input Training

If you are involved with direct data input into the TRA databases (i.e your company is an AOCN), a separate one day input training session is scheduled the day preceding the workshop  - call the TRA Customer Service Center for further information.  A nominal charge applies for  those attending.  Also see Company-specific Workshops/Training below should you desire such training to be suitcased to your location.

Company-specific Workshops/Training

Arrangements can be made to provide the TRA workshop and/or data input training on a company-specific suitcased basis.  This alternative can be cost beneficial to you if you are considering sending even just a few people to the workshop.  You can save on travel and living expenses and on employee out-of-office time as well.  Company-specific workshops and training also provide flexibility since we can work with you on location, timeframes, and content.  We can focus on different aspects of the material to meet your specific needs, expertise, company-specific case situations, etc., as you may desire.  Please contact us for further information.
