The industry's first network-driven work order and task manager, and a key differentiator between Inventory's Core System and other Operations Support Systems (OSSs) solutions on the market.

When you use Inventory's Core System with the Works module, you:

• No longer have to rely on out-of-date paper copies of circuit layout records, improvised provisioning and installation procedures
• Eliminate endless telephone tag to verify the completion of network changes
• Can track the entire network change process, from order to activation
• Can take the benefits of the Core System out into the field

Works is the first network-driven workflow manager. It constructs work orders and task lists that are specifically matched to network configuration changes in the Core System. Tasks are routed to web-based work queues where they can be checked out and completed by the appropriate personnel, or they are exported through the Telcordia Granite API to other systems for automated execution.

Once completed, changes to the work order's status are automatically reflected in the status of affected circuits and network elements.
