See your network your way and drill down to any location, equipment, chassis, port or slot. View is a tremendous time-saver for both operations and engineering users and features a space-saving GeoMapping approach that lets you place your own raster-based backdrops on any network layout.

View is a Java-based client that:

• Renders network sites and circuits on a geographic display automatically, with panning and zooming down to a street level
• Provides detailed circuit layout record displays for one or several circuits at a time
• Enables network operators to see immediately what elements are common to several circuits in the schematic display mode, and to check multiple links for redundancy
• Provides a graphical representation of the service resource objects within the Core System

View's GIS component offers visual rendering of GIS-based maps of network sites and circuit paths. It automatically generates these geographical maps based on the position coordinates of the sites and the location points for the circuit paths.

Its CLR component provides physical and logical representation of circuit paths through graphical representation of each pertinent part of the circuit path including equipment, cards, ports, segments and cables. Details regarding port utilization on equipment in the visualized path or channel availability on segments used within the path are obtained by clicking on the equipment or segment in question.

The Rack Draw component is a visual tool for designing and managing equipment racks, physical equipment, cards, and ports related to a particular network site. It uses dimensional data stored in the Core System's database to render relative sizes.
