This system controls the flow of service orders, coordinating and tracking their progress through every step in the provisioning process. Based on user-tunable tables and requested service activity, the system parses and interprets input orders, determines the correct inventory and assignment components (systems) needed to establish or change a service, then provides sequenced instructions to interact with those components. It supports a broad range of service types, from basic voice to the most complex special service circuits, and handles a complete set of order types and work orders.
