The Supply Chain Order Manager is the hub for customer product selection and partner offering selection

The Supply Chain Order Manager gives customer support representatives and users of web portals the ability to dynamically obtain product and component offering recommendations in the process of creating a quote for a customer. It also manages the quote's life cycle and eventual approval. It performs product selection through a recommendation engine, and it manages the creation, approval and execution of quotes through to valid orders.

The Manager also enables users to browse the catalog for potential solutions based on product models and user input. It assists the user in selecting a product solution from a variety of offerings using rules to filter and rank the potential offerings.

This application also provides the SOA-based web services for interfacing with a variety of order entry vehicles including CRM systems, Telcordia® Expediter for order automation, and web interface portals.
