Range Manager

A new addition to our Granite Inventory solution, Range Manager is a management module that allows users to track and manage a generic number system over an entire enterprise. It offers you complete control of all your numbers and number pools including VRF IDs, VLAN IDs, VRF's, RT's, RD's, DLCI, VPI/VCI.

Using Range Manager you can:

• Define your own logic for number selection of any type
• Use optional prefixes and suffixes for better name identification
• Manage number hierarchies and sub ranges
• Track the status of your numbers and tie status to your business logic to take appropriate actions
• Associate numbers with any Core, Works, or IPAM object
• Use Granite Inventory UDAs and attachments
• Use built-in validations, and audit trail support

Range Manager gives you the flexibility to accurately model actual network number topology, including a multiple level hierarchy of numbers. And, when Range Manager is combined with our IP Address management solution (IPAM), you'll be working with a front runner in number management.

Range Manager also utilizes Granite Inventory's core functionality to perform all of the management tasks needed to fully configure a system for your business processes. This framework supports the end-user functionality required to allow you to accurately model any number system you might require, and associate the numbers to any core object.
