Activator supports today's broad and evolving array of services and network technologies such as multi-play services, wireless, Metro Ethernet, MPLS, IP VPN, VoIP, and IPTV among others. It also activates circuits for technologies such as SONET, SDH, DWDM, FTTx, PON, ATM, Frame Relay, DSL, IP, and Ethernet. When activating customer services, it can do so by interfacing with operational elements such as Home Location Registers (HLRs).

As opposed to typical activation solutions, Activator consolidates all your service activation needs onto a single, flexible platform that integrates with the rest of your operational environment to reduce costs and lead times. It works with Telcordia® Granite Inventory to automatically update inventory information to reflect activation results — even under rollback situations or other problem scenarios.
