Telcordia's Ability to Speed Take-up of New Services Wins Convergence World Award
Telcordia Real-Time Charging recognized for advanced rating and revenue management capabilities
Piscataway, NJ - May 1, 2008 - Telcordia's ability to help Communications Service Providers (CSPs) establish competitive differentiation and new revenues through the rapid deployment and take-up of new, converged services has been recognized by the International Engineering Consortium (IEC) and Convergence World magazine. The two companies have selected Telcordia, a global leader in the development of mobile, convergent and interactive communications solutions, as the winner of the 2008 Convergence World Awards in the 'Best OSS/BSS Product or Service' category for the Telcordia® Real-Time Charging solution.
The Convergence World Awards 2008 showcase the convergence of fixed and mobile communications, broadcasting, and entertainment, and recognize the innovations and achievements of the companies driving this convergence forward. The awards, endorsed by the FMCA and the Wi-Fi Alliance, were presented at the IEC's SOFNET 08 event in London.

The independent judging panel for the Convergence World Awards was comprised of members from the IEC, Fixed Mobile Convergence Alliance, Wi-Fi Alliance, and editors of prominent media publications in the convergence and wireless space.

Telcordia Real-Time Charging has also been recently recognized by Technology Marketing Corporation's (TMC®) Internet Telephony magazine, picking up one of the awards in March 2008 for 'Product of the Year.'
