Telcordia to Educate Industry on Managing Operations for Converging Services at TM Forum Management World Americas 2007
Participation highlighted by multiple panel presentations and key role in Mobile Backhaul Management Catalyst Showcase
PISCATAWAY, NJ - November 1, 2007 - Telcordia, a global leader in the development of IP, wireless, and mobile telecommunication software and services, will participate in multiple event sessions and the Mobile Backhaul Management Catalyst Showcase at TM Forum Management World Americas 2007.
Through nine event sessions that include the presentation of customer case studies, industry trends and insights, Telcordia executives will educate attendees about telecom, IP and managing operations for converging services. Speaking participation includes:
- Michael Anderson, president of Global Solutions for Telcordia will present "Interactive Services, The Impact on Operations of a New Generation of Customized, Real-Time, Personalized Services and Content," on Wednesday, November 7th at 11:00 am
- Ricardo Conde, CALA regional director, Telcordia will participate in the presentation of the "Oi, a Brazilian Converged Service Provider, Telcordia and Accenture: Transforming and Implementing a New Data Service Fulfillment Process" case study on Wednesday, November 7th at 11:00 am
- Pat McCarthy, vice president of global marketing, Service Delivery Solutions, Telcordia, will present "Billing Process Frameworks" A Roadmap Towards Next Generations Services" on Thursday, November 8th at 12:30 pm

Telcordia will also have a significant role in the TM Forum Catalyst Program. As cable operators expand into new services and market segments, current OSS solutions must broaden to meet the demands of voice, commercial and carrier services, creating the need for robust, flexible and open platforms. To that end, Time Warner Cable is exploring how proven standards and common interfaces can support emerging business requirements and will serve as the project champion for the Mobile Backhaul Management Catalyst Showcase being held at the event. Telcordia® Granite Inventory will play a key role in the showcase, which addresses the monitoring and management of a cable commercial service known as mobile backhaul service.
