OSS Observer Ranks Telcordia #1 in Service Fulfillment
for Second Consecutive Year
PISCATAWAY, NJ - April 16, 2007 - Telcordia (www.telcordia.com) has been acknowledged for the second consecutive year as the global Service Fulfillment market leader by OSS Observer, a leading market research firm that analyzes telecoms software. In an overall market expected by OSS Observer to grow from US$1.86 billion in 2006 to US$2.85 billion by 2011, Telcordia, with 13% of the market share, has proven again that it is the vendor of choice and holds the highest market share of any firm.
The report, titled Market Review: Overall View of Global Service Fulfillment 2006 - 2011, examines in depth the market shares of leading vendors in the Inventory Management, Order Management, Activation and Engineering Tools marketplaces, and states that "Telcordia is a leader in every service fulfillment segment." OSS Observer forecasts that EMEA will grow faster than North America, and draw even more in total spending from operators by 2009.
OSS Observer notes that broadband is the largest services segment where operators are demanding service fulfillment solutions. In terms of fulfillment technologies, Order Management, Inventory Management and Activation are expected to experience double-digit growth during the five-year forecast period.
