Richard Jacowleff

As President of Telcordia's Interconnection Solutions group, Richard Jacowleff provides the overall leadership and business strategy for Telcordia's interconnection services, products and partners to help government regulators and service providers create open and competitive markets. The business provides advisory services, number portability solutions and service interconnection clearinghouses for TDM and IP network providers worldwide and includes global sales and marketing, systems development and clearinghouse operations.

As a recognized leader in the industry, Mr. Jacowleff has more than 25 years of experience in the communications market assisting customers with business transformation to address competition and trading partner collaboration. Under Mr. Jacowleff's leadership, Telcordia has become the recognized global leader of number portability solutions with nine countries and 100s of services providers relying on the business' expertise and solutions.

Mr. Jacowleff has held a variety of technical and executive positions at Telcordia and Bell Laboratories. He formerly served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Telcordia's Next Generation OSS business unit and led the implementation of the first commercial wholesale ordering clearinghouse to serve the North American telecommunications industry. As Executive Program Manager in the late 1990s, Mr. Jacowleff led the OSS and Network Transformation teams at Eircom in Dublin, Ireland. In addition, as a Technical Staff Member at Bell Laboratories, he is credited with the design and implementation of the Access Ordering network serving the IXC and RBOC markets post divesture.

Mr. Jacowleff received Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Computer Science from New York Institute of Technology in New York and Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey respectively.
