Joseph Giordano

Equally versed in telecom and in law, Joseph Giordano, Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary, provides strategic legal direction and support as Telcordia moves forward as an independent company.

Mr. Giordano joined Telcordia in 1984 as a member of the technical staff. Before being named Acting General Counsel in May 2007, he managed the day-to-day operations of Telcordia's general and intellectual property legal functions. In addition to 14 years in Telcordia's legal department, Mr. Giordano has been active in software development and systems engineering for the company.

Mr. Giordano holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and a Masters in Science degree in engineering management from the University of Missouri-Rolla. He is a graduate of the Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, New Jersey, and is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
