As President of Telcordia's Global Solutions group, Michael Anderson provides the overall vision and leadership for Telcordia's Next Generation OSS products, services, and partners to help customers create, deliver and manage services over any network or device. These end-to-end solutions span the company's operational and business support products and services as well as product management, engineering, sales, marketing and alliances.
With more than 15 years of global leadership with media and high technology software and service providers, Mr. Anderson has the proven ability to lead companies with a focused effort to identify customers, establish market position, exploit niche product and service opportunities, and drive new and sustainable revenues. He is adept at solving customers' challenges and developing businesses with an emphasis on advanced product development, strategic channel management, and expansion into key vertical markets. He also has an exceptional ability to forge and maintain customer and alliance relationships.
Prior to Telcordia, Mr. Anderson was Vice President of Business Development & Global Marketing for ADC's Software Systems Group, where he was responsible for marketing, strategy and go to market activities and helped re-build ADC's market-leading position globally. He has also held senior roles in sales, marketing and product management with P&L responsibility at AT&T, MCI and Time Warner Telecom, where he was responsible for building national and international networks and services, new product development and overall market operations.
Mr. Anderson is a recognized pioneer in the early IP, broadband communications and media markets and helped start one of the world's first competitive voice and data service providers that grew to become a market leader before being sold to Time Warner. He also founded a global leader in IP services which quickly grew to become a leading Internet economy brand.
Mr. Anderson is a founder and past member of the Board of Directors of the Internet Service Provider Business Forum and is actively involved in several industry organizations and advisory boards.
He holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Washington College of Arts and Sciences and completed a fellowship at the Georgetown University Law Center.
