RCR Wireless News has selected Telcordia as the winner of its inaugural RCR Wireless Ecosystem Award in the B/OSS category. The award recognizes companies and individuals that demonstrate success, innovation, and excellence, and whose contributions have made an impact on the industry and the people it serves.
IEEE Recognizes Telcordia and Its Employees with Multiple 2009 Awards
The IEEE national organization and various IEEE Sections within New Jersey have honored Telcordia and four of its Advanced Technology Solutions group. The company received the 2009 Friend of IEEE and Engineering Profession award and the 2009 Supporting Friend of IEEE Member and Geographic Activities (MGA) award. Kiriakos Manousakis, senior research scientist and Ashutosh Dutta, senior scientist both received 2009 Section Leadership awards while Subir Das, senior scientist was awarded the 2009 Technology Innovation Award. In addition Mark Karol, senior scientist was elected Vice President of Technical Activities for IEEE Communications Society.

Telcordia has been named the global market leader in Service Fulfillment by leading industry analyst firm, Analysys Mason/OSS Observer for the for the fourth consecutive year. Telcordia's number-one ranking appears in the July 2009 report, Service Fulfillment Market Review, which provides a detailed five-year forecast for order management, inventory, activation and engineering tools by service: mobile, residential broadband, business services and PSTN. Telcordia is ranked as a leader in every service fulfillment segment.
2009 Network Products Guide Product Innovation Award
Network Products Guide, the industry's leading publication on information technologies and solutions, has honored Telcordia® IP Assure with their 2009 Product Innovation Award for Network Configuration Assessment. The international award recognizes vendors with innovative and groundbreaking products in all areas of information technology. IP Assure is a flexible and scalable web-based software solution that transforms the costly, labor-intensive job of network error detection and remediation into a simple, automated process.
2009 NGN Leadership Award
Technology Marketing Corporation's (TMC) NGN Magazine has honored Telcordia with its 2009 NGN Leadership Award. The award recognizes outstanding achievements in the IP communications community, particularly products, services and technologies that are driving innovation and success in the CSP and NGN industry. Telcordia® Real-Time Charging was selected for its ability to enable communication service providers (CSPs) to differentiate themselves in a highly competitive market by developing interactive, personalized relationships with their subscribers.
2009 Tomorrow's Technology Today Award for Network Configuration Assessment
Info Security, a publication devoted to the strategy and technique of information security and distributed to over 25,000 IT security professionals in the UK and Europe, has named Telcordia® IP Assure the winner of its 2009 Tomorrow's Technology Today Award for Network Configuration Assessment. The award underscores IP Assure's position as a best-of-breed product that provides the highest security integrity check for an entire IP network.

2009 Billing & OSS World Excellence Awards
Telcordia was awarded Billing & OSS World magazine's 2009 Excellence Award in the Best Revenue Management Solution category. The award recognized Telcordia's work with kajeet and the integration of Telcordia service delivery & charging solutions to bring interactive, personalized services to kajeet subscribers. Supported by Telcordia® Real-Time Charging and Telcordia® Real-Time Policy, kajeet developed an innovative service that allows families to safely navigate the world of mobile services.
IDC ranks Telcordia as #1 supplier worldwide of Number Administration Infrastructure
In its recent report, Worldwide Number Administration Infrastructure 2008 - 2013 Forecast and Analysis, IDC, a leading analyst firm, ranked Telcordia as the market leader. The Telcordia Number Portability suite includes proven solutions to accelerate number portability implementation and streamline operations for both fixed and mobile service providers. In the U.S. alone, more than 95% of all mobile number portability transactions exchanged between Tier 1 service providers are processed by Telcordia.
Global Telecoms Business (GTB) 2008 Innovation Awards
Telcordia Integrated Inventory and Telcordia® Real-Time Charging were each awarded a Global Telecoms Business (GTB) 2008 Innovation award. GTB, the journal of reference for telecommunications, honored innovative projects involving telecoms operators and service providers globally, in association with vendors and suppliers. Telcordia was recognized for its work with two customers who integrated the Telcordia fulfillment and service delivery solutions.
Northrop Grumman 2008 Supplier Excellence Award
Northrop Grumman Corporation, a global defense company, has awarded Telcordia the Northrop Grumman 2008 Supplier Excellence Award for its ability to deliver solutions that meet strict demands for technical performance, financial performance, schedule management, quality of solutions, and overall management of a project. The award was presented to 13 suppliers from more than 1000 subcontractors, and recognized Telcordia's work on software systems engineering and development in connection with the Future Combat Systems sub-contract to Northrop Grumman.
ATIS 2008 Annual Award Winners
Four Telcordia employees were honored by ATIS, an organization that develops standards and creates solutions that support the rollout of new products and services in the communications marketplace. Dawn Kaplan was honored with the 2008 ATIS Award for Leadership in Standards Development, which recognizes a forum or committee leader whose vision and leadership over the past 12 months resulted in the creation of ATIS Standards. Ron Roman, Adam Wertheimer and Ray Singh were recipients of the 2008 ATIS Outstanding Contributions Award.
The International Engineering Consortium (IEC) and Convergence World magazine selected the Telcordia® Real-Time Charging solution as the winner of their 2008 Convergence World Award in the best OSS/BSS Product or Service category. The Convergence World awards are endorsed by the FMCA and the Wi-Fi Alliance and recognize the innovations and achievements of companies who drive the convergence of fixed and mobile communications, broadcasting, and entertainment forward.
2008 Billing & OSS World Excellence Awards
Telcordia was awarded Billing & OSS World magazine and Billing & OSS World Conference & Expo's 2008 Excellence Awards for the Telcordia Service Management Suite in the Best Service Assurance category and the Telcordia Fulfillment Suite in the Best Service Fulfillment Solution category. The awards are presented to market leaders in the development and deployment of billing and OSS technologies and solutions. Both suites help communications service providers generate additional revenue, maximize customer loyalty and differentiate offerings.
CRM Magazine 2008 Rising Star
CRM Magazine has named Telcordia a Rising Star in its fifth annual Service Awards, recognizing Telcordia as a vendor that delivers a high level of service that enables its clients to do the same. CRM praised the company as a veteran of the telecom wars that is "still armed for battle" and likened it to a "comet that has swung around and is on a return trajectory." IDC senior research analyst Shira Levine said, "Telcordia is coming back with new products, expanding into [mobile virtual network operators], and looking internationally."
